Biography
Francisco Ronay received his Ph.D. in Automatic Control from the University of Lorraine, France, in 2014. He has been a full professor at the National Technological Institute of Mexico, IT Tuxtla Gutiérrez, since 2008. He serves on the editorial boards of Mathematical and Computational Applications and the International Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science. Dr. Ronay has authored or co-authored more than 50 research papers published in ISI-indexed journals and presented at several international conferences. He has led numerous funded research projects, both as a sole investigator and through collaborative grants.
In addition, he collaborates with leading European universities such as the University of Lorraine, the University of Paris 2, the University of Stavanger, and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, among others. His research interests focus on fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control using convex LPV and Takagi-Sugeno models, with applications in electromobility, leak detection, and the safety and management of UAVs, mobile robots, and water distribution systems.
